THAT’S ENTERTAINMENT

Lindsay Carroll from Capita Symonds’ Blackburn office is playing a charity gig for Macmillan Cancer Support on Friday 17th April.

Lindsay’s band - Snap! The Sound of the Jam - pays homage to the songs (and spirit) of one of the UK’s most important and influential rock bands of the last 30 years.

As true fans of the Weller, Foxton and Buckler combo that dominated the British music scene of the late 70s and early 80s, Lindsay’s band promises to take both the casual and true aficionado Jam fan back to the halcyon days of the ‘Grange Hill Generation’.

Deriving its name from the title of The Jam’s most popular anthology - Snap! (originally released in 1983) – the band’s line up is Lindsay, Guitar and Vocals; Andy McMillan, Bass and Vocals; and Sandy Sweetman, Drums.

The big night is on Friday 17th April at Blakeys Bar, King George’s Hall, Blackburn.
